Six new six rules, including the sale of environmental protection services in the furniture industry, were introduced.

In the 20 years of the development of the furniture industry in Beijing, the state and industry have introduced a number of policies and regulations and industry standards related to furniture products, which have had a certain impact on the industry more or less. Today, we have selected six policies and standards from sales, environmental protection, and service. Their existence has better protected consumers' rights and interests, and has made the industry more healthy and more dynamic. Service: No three bags of non-sale furniture. On September 16, 1998, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Technical Supervision, Beijing Municipal Administration of Industry and Commerce, and Beijing Municipal Commission of Commerce jointly formulated the “Responsibility Regulations for the Repair, Replacement, and Return of Furniture Products in Beijing”. According to the regulations, the three-pack period of wooden furniture, metal furniture, spring soft mattresses and sofas is one year. The principle of who sells furniture is responsible for the three guarantees. If it is not guaranteed to implement the three guarantees, furniture products cannot be sold. During the validity period of the three guarantees, the consumer shall go through the formalities of repair, replacement and return with valid documents. If the quality of furniture products causes losses to consumers, sellers and producers shall compensate according to the relevant laws and regulations. Comments: "Beijing Furniture Product Repair, Replacement, Return Responsibility Regulations" clarifies the responsibility and obligation of the seller and the producer to bear the three guarantees of furniture products, and provides an effective basis for protecting the legitimate rights and interests of consumers. Intellectual Property: Furniture Design Protected On October 24, 2000, the industry standard “Trial Measures for Furniture Design Protection” formulated and published by the China Furniture Association came into effect. The "Measures" stipulate that the furniture design patent granted by the State Intellectual Property Office, the furniture design right granted in accordance with the agreement signed by China with foreign countries or the international treaty on intellectual property rights jointly participated shall be protected. According to the "Measures", after the utility model patent is granted, no unit or individual may manufacture, use or sell its patented products for the purpose of production or business, or use a patented product without the permission of the patentee, except as otherwise stipulated by law. Or use a patented method and use and sell products directly obtained in accordance with the patented method. After the design patent right is granted, no unit or individual may manufacture, use or sell its design patented product for the purpose of production or business operation without the permission of the patentee. Comment: Although this standard has a certain role in encouraging furniture design innovation and promoting healthy competition in the furniture industry. However, since the standard is only an industry standard and the process of judging patent infringement is complicated, it is difficult to protect the furniture design effectively. Environmental protection: the minimum amount of hazardous materials in furniture began on January 1, 2002. The 10 national compulsory standards jointly formulated by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the National Standardization Administration Committee - "Limits for Hazardous Substances in Interior Decoration Materials" began. Implementation, the provisions of paint, wallpaper, wood furniture and other ten indoor decoration materials, the minimum amount of harmful substances, products that do not meet the requirements of the standard are judged as unqualified products. Among them, "Limits of Hazardous Substances in Wood Furniture for Interior Decoration Materials" stipulates the limit indicators of harmful elements such as formaldehyde and soluble lead, cadmium, chromium, mercury and arsenic in wood furniture. Comments: The implementation of "Limited Quantity of Hazardous Materials in Interior Furniture and Decoration Materials" has a certain effect on improving product quality, reducing indoor pollution, and regulating the normal order of the decoration and decoration market. However, due to the lack of refinement of the "Limited Standards", even if the furniture purchased by consumers is a qualified product, there may be indoor pollution, and it is difficult to determine the responsibility. The use of environmental labeling requirements is higher. On May 31, 2004, the guiding standard “Technical Requirements for Furniture Environmental Products” formulated by the State Environmental Protection Administration was implemented. This technology requires certain requirements for the quality of hazardous materials in the environmental labeling products of furniture and the discharge of pollutants in the production process. Only the products that meet the conditions in the standard can obtain the environmental ten-ring mark. Comments: Compared with the "Limits of Hazardous Substances in Wood Furniture for Interior Decoration Materials", "Technical Requirements for Furniture Environmental Products" not only increased the control of environmental pollution behavior in the production process, but also proposed the limit of harmful substances in furniture. Higher requirements, "Limited Hazardous Substances in Wood Furniture for Interior Decoration Materials" only stipulates the formaldehyde emission and soluble heavy metal content of wood furniture, while the "Technical Requirements for Furniture Environmental Products" refers to formaldehyde in furniture environmental labeling products. There are restrictions on the content of benzene, xylene and heavy metals. Therefore, the furniture products that receive the environmental ten-ring mark are not only qualified products, but also nationally recognized environmentally friendly products. Trade: tax rate cuts intensify competition in the furniture industry Since July 1, 2007, the state has adjusted the export tax rebate policy for 2,831 items of goods. The export tax rebates for furniture, wood, disposable wood products and other furniture products have been lowered by 2%. Comments: The reduction in tax rate may cause some furniture companies to reduce their exports to domestic sales. For furniture companies with low profits, the pressure of survival has once again increased. A group of small and medium-sized enterprises that are not competitive may be eliminated. Sales: Furniture has ID card "Decoration Instructions for Furniture" On October 1, 2005, the "Guidelines for the Use of Furniture" promulgated by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine began to be enforced nationwide. According to the requirements, all furniture products sold in the future must have "Furniture Instructions for Use". The Furniture Instructions shall state the name, use, specifications, date of manufacture, materials, installation requirements, maintenance, handling, storage, and producers of the furniture. The "Decoration Instructions for Furniture" also explains the control indicators for the materials used in furniture and the toxic substances or radioactivity actually contained in the paint. This means that in the future, furniture dealers must indicate the exact content of harmful substances such as formaldehyde when selling products. Comments: The introduction of "Furniture Instructions for Use" has eliminated a number of small enterprises and small workshops with low production costs, poor quality of materials and insufficient technical standards. In addition, it is clear that the content of toxic substances such as formaldehyde in the furniture makes the consumer clear at a glance, even if there is a dispute, the consumer has a basis for complaints. Qualifications: Grades of furniture designers. On September 12, 2006, the “Measures for Qualification of Chinese Furniture Designers” drafted by the China Furniture Association was adopted at the “National Furniture Designers Congress”. For the first time, the "Assessment Method" has taken the professionals who are engaged in the design of various furniture products throughout the country as the object of assessment. It not only stipulates the level of furniture designers, (from high to low: Chinese furniture design master, senior furniture designer, furniture designer , assistant furniture designer), but also the corresponding qualifications for designers at these levels. Comments: Although the "Assessment Method" has no coercive power, it has a certain effect on promoting the overall development of Chinese furniture design, improving the professional level of professional designers and the design grade of products. The introduction of the "Assessment Measures" has increased the confidence of colleges and universities in cultivating furniture professionals, and has also made enterprises pay more attention to brand building and attach importance to patent protection. Collection: Discerning the evidence of mahogany can be enforced in 2003 according to the redwood standard issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. The standard clearly stipulates that there are 33 species of redwood, which are classified into rosewood, rosewood, fragrant wood, black rosewood, red rosewood, ebony, and wenge, and their density, structure and color must conform to the corresponding Prerequisites can be called mahogany. Comments: With the improvement of people's living standards, in recent years, mahogany furniture and related products have been highly respected, and many families regard the possession of a mahogany furniture as a boutique for use and collection. However, people have not given a scientific definition of "redwood", and there are different opinions. The implementation of the Redwood standard has solved the problem of non-uniformity of the redwoods for a long time, and also has important guiding significance for regulating production and trade, combating counterfeiting, purifying the market of mahogany products, and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.

A self-contained, portable liquid chemical supply tank storage and transfer unit includes an external support shell having upper and lower support shell sections concentrically joined to one another. The upper support shell section includes diametrically opposed upright arms which define therebetween a generally U-shaped space in which the transfer system is positioned. The lower support shell section houses a liquid chemical storage tank. The transfer system includes a metering canister fluid-connected to the liquid chemical within the storage tank, a selector valve assembly and a pump (preferably a manually-actuated hand pump). Operation of the pump will allow liquid chemical to be drawn from the storage tank and into the canister. The liquid chemical in the metering canister may then be transferred (e.g., via gravity or another pump) to another tank, for example, a mixing tank associated with an agricultural spray implement.
