Great Wall Drilling independently developed PDC bit drilling speed to a new high

On August 26th, the Liaohe Oilfield Cixi Oil Production Plant sent a good news: Great Wall Drilling used the PDC drill bit independently developed and developed to efficiently complete the drilling operation of the Well 131. The drilling rate reached 16.93 meters per hour, and the block record was refreshed again.

The Well 131 is a key pre-exploration well deployed for Party A. The construction is difficult and the requirements of Party A are high. After winning the bidding service project, the designer of the Great Wall Drilling Organization Bit Factory carefully studied the lithology characteristics of the block and selected the self-developed 215.9 mm GS519-HSD1 PDC bit with balanced impact and grinding performance. The drill bit was drilled from the Dongying Formation at 1210 meters, drilling to 2,243 meters, and the mechanical drilling rate was as high as 16.93 meters per hour, passing through the 150-meter conglomerate section and the 100-meter basalt section. Party A decides to compare the drilling with the Linjing Formation. After the drill bit is out, it only has slight wear and can be used continuously. After the well is drilled again, the drill bit is drilled to the top of the buried hill for coring. The mechanical drilling speed still reaches 11.06 per hour. Meter.

This kind of drill bit has an average mechanical drilling rate of 22.7% compared with the same block, and the actual two-open drilling cycle is 14 days, which is shorter than the second-cycle design of Party A by 4 days.
