On the morning of September 12, a signing ceremony for a comprehensive cooperation agreement between China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH) and the Guiyang Municipal People's Government took place at the Guiyang International Ecological Conference Center. The event was attended by high-level officials including Vice Governor Wang Jiangping, President of SINOMACH Xu Jian, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee Li Zaiyong, Mayor Li Zaiyong, and Vice President Liu Dagong of SINOMACH. The ceremony marked a significant step in strengthening collaboration between the two parties.
During the event, the Guiyang Municipal People's Government signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with SINOMACH, as well as an optimization and restructuring agreement with Guizhou National Machinery Abrasives Co., Ltd. Additionally, the Qingzhen Municipal People's Government entered into a cooperation agreement with China National Machinery Group’s China Abrasives Import and Export Corporation. Meanwhile, the Guizhou Academy of Sciences and China Zhongyuan International Engineering Co., Ltd. of SINOMACH signed a framework agreement for the optimization and restructuring of the Guizhou Province Building Materials Design Institute.
Under the agreements, both sides will focus on enhancing cooperation in equipment manufacturing, regional industrial planning, and the development of modern manufacturing services, guided by the principles of mutual benefit, complementary strengths, and shared growth. The goal is to elevate Guiyang’s R&D and manufacturing capabilities in mechanical equipment, new abrasive materials, and building materials, while accelerating the growth of modern manufacturing services such as engineering design, construction, and trade.
In the near future, Guizhou Dazhong Abrasives Co., Ltd. will undergo optimization and restructuring, with plans to build an annual production capacity of 250,000 tons of corundum series in Qingzhen City. The project aims to establish the largest and most renowned center for the research, manufacturing, and export of grinding materials, along with a global market sales service hub.
Mayor Li Zaiyong emphasized that Guiyang is currently focusing on building a national ecological civilization demonstration city, leveraging the development of Zhongguancun Guiyang Science and Technology Park to drive industrial transformation through technological innovation. He noted that SINOMACH plays a crucial role in helping Guiyang transform local resources and extend its industrial chain. All city departments are encouraged to provide strong support for the projects, ensuring timely completion and early operational results.
Xu Jian, President of SINOMACH, highlighted that this partnership marks an important milestone in deepening strategic cooperation between SINOMACH, Guizhou Province, and Guiyang City. He expressed hope that this collaboration would lead to more joint efforts, contributing to the enhancement of local specialty industries and mutual development.
Deputy Mayor Liu Yuhai presided over the ceremony, which was also attended by representatives from SINOMACH, provincial and municipal government departments, Qingzhen City, the High-tech Development Zone, the Economic and Technological Development Zone, and various related enterprises.
