Jinyuanmu Damba Coal Mine strengthens initiative consciousness of labor insurance management

On July 20, the Woodnba Group’s Mudanba Coal Mine trade union organized a labor management seminar. The event was led by labor insurance supervisors, party branch secretaries, union chairmen at various levels, safety officers, and employee representatives. The purpose of the meeting was to gather feedback directly from frontline workers, identify current issues in labor insurance management, and plan future actions accordingly. This seminar was an essential step in implementing the Ten Provisions for Coal Mine Guards aimed at protecting miners’ lives and health. During the session, discussions focused on the demand for protective equipment, its quality, and the timeliness of distribution. This helped collect more detailed and accurate information, which will be critical in improving labor insurance management in the coming months. Mine leaders outlined several key measures: First, they emphasized the need for greater initiative in labor insurance management, urging departments to conduct thorough research and understand employees' real needs regarding protective gear. Second, the production department was instructed to maintain more detailed records of labor insurance supplies and ensure timely delivery based on each employee's role. Third, production areas were asked to report any necessary adjustments to the distribution plan to the relevant departments. Fourth, the trade union was tasked with strengthening its supervisory role, ensuring that the procurement and distribution of safety equipment are properly monitored and assessed. Additionally, efforts should be made to improve labor insurance management so that all protective items are used effectively, safeguarding the health and well-being of workers. Finally, logistics staff were encouraged to enhance their service attitude, take more proactive approaches, and ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, and repair of labor protection supplies. By focusing on these initiatives, the mine aims to create a safer and more supportive working environment for all employees. This effort reflects the ongoing commitment to upholding high standards of safety and care in the coal mining industry.
