The preparatory work for the 12th China Chengdu Building Energy-Saving Technology Expo and the 10th Chengdu, China Building Decoration Materials Fair, both held in 2013 (hereinafter referred to as the Construction Fair), is well underway. The investment has been fully allocated for the exhibition booths, and the event has now entered the stage of audience organization.
With major events scheduled to begin in June 2013, the organizing committee decided to reschedule the fair to ensure smooth operations. The Construction Fair will now be held from June 24 to June 26, 2013, in Hall 6, 7, and 8 of the Chengdu New International Convention and Exhibition Center.
The exhibition features a total of 3 halls with an area of nearly 50,000 square meters. Over 1,000 domestic and international enterprises specializing in new environmental protection and energy-saving building materials have participated. This significant expansion marks a historic leap in the development of Southwest building materials exhibitions.
The products on display are divided into two categories: technology and decoration. Leading global technologies and top-tier domestic brands are all present, each showcasing unique features. Media outlets such as Chengdu SouFun.com and Asia Pacific Media are providing live webcasts of the event.
In terms of audience organization, the fair has already secured agreements with 19 prefecture-level cities and more than 40 decorated cities. Over 8,000 decoration companies, engineering firms, design institutes, and procurement departments have confirmed their visits. Nearly 6,000 professional website designers have booked their attendance, while over 10,005 building material manufacturers, distributors, and dealers have registered for visits. It is expected that the number of visitors will exceed 50,000.
