The total amount of marble products exported reached 197,000,000 euros, while the granite for the same period was only 138,760,000 euros. From the same period last year, we can see that the marble products were 243,000,000 and the granite products were 208,000,000 euros.
Other data worth mentioning are about the two main Italian regions of Tuscany and Veneto. For the most negative North American market, its export volume has dropped by 2/3 compared to 2007, and the value of exported stone has also fallen by more than 54%. Both of these production areas are subject to the degree of marble export damage, both in terms of quantity and selling price.
Similarly, in Europe, the value of exports to countries within the EU fell by 28%, and exports to countries outside the EU (Russia, Switzerland, Croatia) fell by 15.5%. In the past, the strong North African market, the Middle East market also fell in price.
