On the morning of October 30th, Qi Xinan, deputy secretary of the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, led a visit to Yucheng County, accompanied by local officials including Tao Minglun, the city party secretary; Wang Jianmin, member of the municipal party committee and disciplinary inspection commission secretary; Liu Lianchang, county party secretary; Liang Hui, county magistrate; and Li Zhiping, member of the county party committee and disciplinary inspection commission secretary. The group visited several key enterprises in the diamond materials industry, including Huifeng Diamond Branch, Wanke Diamond Tools, and the commercial complex, focusing on the development of new materials and technological innovation.
During the visit, Qi Xinan emphasized that Yucheng's diamond industry has developed into a well-structured cluster with significant scale and a complete industrial chain. He praised the high-tech nature of the products and expressed strong confidence in the future growth of the region. He also highlighted the potential for further expansion and innovation in the sector.
At the Wanke Diamond Tools Exhibition Hall, Qi Xinan was impressed by the company’s technological capabilities and its role in driving the local economy forward. He encouraged continued investment in research and development to maintain a competitive edge in the global market.
In addition, Qi Xinan conducted an on-site inspection of the Yucheng County Commission for Discipline Inspection. He commended the department for its innovative approaches and practical outcomes. Notably, the county had established seven discipline committees and three rural supervision studios, which helped redefine the roles and responsibilities of disciplinary bodies. This shift from "in vivo supervision" to "external supervision" was seen as a positive step toward more transparent and effective oversight.
Tao Minglun, the city party secretary, shared his reflections during a discussion with staff from the County Discipline Working Committee. He stressed the importance of following Qi Xinan’s example by being more engaged with grassroots issues, emphasizing sincerity and practicality. He also called for enhanced research and learning to adapt to the evolving challenges in disciplinary work. Innovation, he said, was key to improving the effectiveness of supervision and ensuring that anti-corruption efforts remained strong and relevant.
He noted that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, there has been a consistent push to strengthen anti-corruption measures at all levels. Despite changes in methods and structures, the commitment to combating corruption and promoting integrity remains unwavering. All reforms aim to enhance the efficiency and impact of disciplinary inspections, while maintaining a firm stance on case handling and accountability.
Tao concluded by expressing hope that Yucheng would continue to build on its achievements and strive for even greater progress in the future.
