Don’t forget essential safety gear like gloves and goggles!
The corner molding is key to setting the right height and alignment for your integrated ceiling. To start, mark a point at approximately 230-240 cm on one wall using a transparent tube. Align this with the opposite wall and drill holes accordingly. If the ceiling height is based on the tile layout, use a wooden bar fixed with steel nails along the wall and snap an ink line along the desired height. This horizontal line will guide the placement of the edge molding.
Cut the edge molding to the exact length needed, ensuring each end is cut at a 45-degree angle using a triangular ruler and hacksaw blade. Always adjust the angle to match the actual corner measurements, not assuming they’re exactly 90 degrees. Once cut, smooth out any rough edges with steel files. When fixing these moldings to the wall, place screws every 30-40 cm apart. Ensure the corners fit snugly together without gaps.
