The arc-pressure type height adjustment system is mainly used in plasma cutting; its main function is to keep the height of the torch to the steel plate unchanged during the cutting process, thereby ensuring the cutting quality. Through the automatic height adjustment system, the CNC cutting machine can continuously adjust the torch height on the uneven steel plate according to the set torch height, thus ensuring that the height of the torch to the steel plate is kept constant. A special sensor processing module is used to detect small changes in capacitance or arc voltage between the workpiece and the detection ring, which are amplified and transmitted to the main control board through the high frequency carrier. The main control board controls the operation of the drive module according to the user's settings, the signal of the sensor and the feedback signal of the drive module, and automatically adjusts the height of the torch to ensure a constant height between the torch and the workpiece.


The principle of the capacitance adjustment is that the capacitance between the capacitive sensing ring and the steel plate to be cut is formed between the two plates, and the size of the capacitor is related to the distance between the two. When cutting a thin plate, the capacitor must be automatically adjusted to prevent the torch from hitting the steel plate to avoid damage to the torch. In addition, if the automatic thickening is not used when the thick steel plate is perforated, the perforated slag is likely to clog the cutting nozzle. It can cut all kinds of metal materials (stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy copper, aluminum, copper, nickel, titanium, etc.), featuring fast cutting speed, narrow slit, small deformation and material saving.
The application fields of the two methods are different. The capacitance adjustment is mainly used for the flame cutting method. After detecting the capacitance change, the distance between the torch and the workpiece is adjusted to achieve the best cutting effect and avoid the torch; the arc The pressure adjustment is mainly used for plasma cutting. It is to detect the arc voltage of the plasma arc to detect the distance between the torch and the workpiece. Because the arc voltage is related to the arc length, as long as the voltage changes, the distance between the torch and the workpiece changes. It is possible to monitor the change of the distance between the torch and the workpiece, so as to make timely adjustments to avoid damage to the torch; in terms of sensitivity, the arc voltage is more sensitive and more accurate, because the plasma is relatively protected by arc voltage regulation. The value of the torch is also higher; although the capacitance is not as high as the arc voltage, it is enough to meet the general requirements of flame gas cutting.
