Linxi Hardware Bearing realizes leapfrog development

In the Grinding Workshop of Linxi Baoxin Bearing Manufacturing Co., Ltd., robotic arms move with precision, showcasing a new era in bearing production. This is a clear sign that the time for automated, high-tech manufacturing in Linxi County has arrived. According to Xia Shubao, the company's representative, the automatic loading and unloading robot is part of the company’s “green technology reform” initiative. Not only does it enable digital monitoring and real-time production tracking, but it also automatically identifies and removes defective products, significantly reducing human error and improving overall product quality. Linxi County is not just focusing on one company; it's driving an entire industry forward. As Jiang Bingxiang, deputy director of the Bureau of Industry and Commerce, explained, over 85% of large-scale bearing enterprises have already adopted fully automated equipment. By the end of this year, full automation will be achieved across the sector. This shift has not only improved efficiency but also brought Linxi bearings up to international standards, aligning them with the quality seen in German and Japanese manufacturing. The push for “green technology reform” was driven by a desire to close the gap between local production and global benchmarks. A report from the Ministry of Railways revealed that certain special bearings used in trucks are still imported, highlighting a significant challenge. This realization motivated Linxi’s industry leaders to rethink their approach. “We must use a global vision to examine Linxi Bearings,” they declared. “We must position Linxi at the forefront of high-end manufacturing.” Through innovation and strategic investment, Linxi has taken bold steps. The county has allocated over 2.5 billion yuan into technological upgrades, R&D, and the elimination of outdated machinery. This effort has led to the emergence of new, high-quality bearing products that can now compete internationally. One such example is Hengtai Ruixin Bearing Co., Ltd., which recently partnered with Tsinghua University to develop advanced train bearings. These bearings, capable of supporting 80–100 tons per wagon, offer superior stability and longevity, making them a direct replacement for imported alternatives. With strong technical foundations, the company is positioning itself as a leading player in the railway bearing industry. Looking ahead, Linxi’s bearing industry is on the path to high-end development. Over the past year, local manufacturers have filed 18 national patents, reflecting a growing culture of innovation. This year, the focus will continue on green technology reforms, increased R&D investment, and expanding market presence both domestically and globally. With these efforts, Linxi aims to establish itself as a true leader in the global bearing industry.

Overhead Stirrer

A laboratory overhead stirrer is a device used in chemistry and biology laboratories to mix and stir liquids. It consists of a motor that drives a rotating shaft with a stirring blade or paddle attached to the end. The motor is mounted on a stand that is suspended from the ceiling, hence the name "overhead stirrer". The stirring speed can be adjusted by the user, and the device can be programmed to run for a set period of time. Overhead stirrers are commonly used in chemical synthesis, cell culture, and microbiology applications. They are particularly useful for mixing viscous liquids, suspensions, and emulsions, and for maintaining a consistent mixing speed over long periods of time.
