When it comes to decorative paints, there are generally two main categories available in the market. One is the oil-based solvent wood coatings used for painting furniture and flooring, commonly referred to as paint. The other is water-based wall paints, often known as latex paint. Although the cost of paint in a home renovation project may not be very high, its role is extremely important. It's the final step in the process, and the overall aesthetics and comfort of the home depend on how well this stage is executed. If done poorly, the result can be unattractive and uncomfortable, and in some cases, even harmful to your health due to the use of low-quality or unsafe products.

Walking through the building materials market, you'll find dozens of paint and coating brands, but which ones are the best? Which should you avoid? Due to the nature of paint, it can be challenging to distinguish between quality options at first glance. Here, I’ll share a few practical tips based on two key aspects to help you make an informed choice.

First, let’s talk about what makes a good paint.

One of the most important factors is the solid content. A high solid content means that the paint covers more area with less product, or provides a thicker, fuller coat in the same space. This makes it more cost-effective in the long run. Paints with lower solid content might seem cheaper, but they require more applications or result in thinner coverage, which doesn't look as good. So, always check the solid content before purchasing.

Second, a good paint has high hardness and excellent wear resistance, along with strong adhesion to the surface. These qualities ensure that the paint lasts longer and maintains its appearance over time.

Third, a high-quality paint offers better transparency, allowing the natural texture of the surface to show through without being obscured by the paint itself.

Fourth, good paint resists yellowing and retains its original color and finish for a longer period, keeping your walls looking fresh and new.

Fifth, the application performance of the paint matters. A good paint spreads smoothly, dries evenly, and results in a flat, beautiful finish without streaks or bubbles.

Sixth, the solvent in a good paint evaporates quickly. After a few days, there should be no noticeable odor. Some paints may smell pleasant when opened, but that doesn’t mean they’re safe. In fact, those scents often come from toxic substances like toluene and xylene. A truly high-quality paint may have a slight smell initially, but it should disappear within a day or two after application.

Finally, and most importantly, environmental safety is crucial. The best paints contain minimal amounts of toxic and harmful substances. These include volatile organic compounds (VOCs), aromatic solvents like benzene, toluene, and xylene, heavy metals such as lead, mercury, and cadmium, and free toluene diisocyanate (TDI). These substances can be dangerous, especially for children. That’s why national standards set strict limits on their presence in paint.

For example, Guangdong Bardez Chemical Co., Ltd. introduced a "full-effect decoration paint" that meets these high standards. The levels of benzene, toluene, xylene, and heavy metals are so low that advanced testing equipment can’t detect them. The TDI content is controlled below 0.1%, far below the national limit of 0.7%. This is one of the safest and most environmentally friendly paint options currently available on the market.

Shaft / Spindle

A shaft is a rotating machine element, usually circular in cross section, which is used to transmit power from one part to another, or from a machine which produces power to a machine which absorbs power.[1] The various members such as pulleys and gears are mounted on it.

Transmission shafts are used to transmit power between the source and the machine absorbing power

Spindles are crucial parts for your lawn mower cutting deck that work together with the pulleys and belts to perform clean and even mowing.

Our shaft/ axle/ spindle we made normally applied on the transmissions, lawn mowers, trucks, excavator and other vehicles, etc.

The materials we used are normally mild steel. When high strength is required, an alloy steel such as nickel, nickel-chromium or chromium-vanadium steel is used.

Shafts are generally formed by not rolling and finished to size by cold drawing or turning and grinding.

Some of the spindles are applied forging castings to save costs.

Main of our customers are from USA, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, German and Chinese domestic market.
