The development of advanced techniques in deformation control, such as rotary quenching and die quenching, has significantly improved the performance of INA bearings. By manipulating parts into oil during the process, the material's potential is fully utilized. Moreover, the enhanced level of automation in heat treatment ensures a stable and optimized process with excellent dispersion properties. One of the most effective methods to improve wear life and accuracy is the use of gas-phase stacking technology to apply a diamond coating on the raceway of INA bearings. This reduces friction and wear, making it ideal for use in household appliances and computer hard drives. Additionally, thermal coating techniques can be used to apply alumina ceramic materials to the outer ring of INA bearings, enhancing their electrical insulation and reducing the risk of electric shock. This not only improves the bearing’s lifespan but also increases its reliability, especially in motor applications. Another important aspect is the use of high-quality inner sleeves. Without the best inner sleeve, a bearing may become damaged, leading to failure and frustration. In such cases, it's crucial to rely on reliable components and proper maintenance to avoid unnecessary damage. The isothermal quenching process has proven to significantly enhance the average lifespan and reliability of INA bearings compared to conventional fire quenching. This method is widely applied in railway bearings, rolling mill bearings, and other special-purpose INA bearings. Compared to other life extension methods, this process is simple and cost-effective. Recently, new steel grades like GCr18Mo have been developed for bainite quenching, promoting its large-scale application in INA bearing manufacturing. This process is particularly recommended for INA bearings operating under harsh conditions—such as those subjected to heavy impact loads or poor surface smoothness—and for applications requiring high reliability. As the demand for more durable and precise bearings grows, the importance of these advanced technologies becomes increasingly evident.
