1. Primary treatment

First remove the dirt, sand, grout, oil, rust, welding slag, and burrs on the metal surface. The surface is then descaled and the method can be handled manually. 2. Antirust paint

When Tu Hongdan antirust paint is applied, the surface of the component must be dry. If there is water, the moisture must be wiped dry. When applying, be sure to brush in place, brush full, brush evenly. For small steel structure components or metal products, the pattern can be complex and the two can cooperate with each other. One person uses a cotton yarn to paint and wipe; one paints and smooths it with an oil brush. For gaps that are not easy to brush in steel components (such as the angle steel backs of angle steel composite components), the rust removal and paint painting processes at the joint gap should be completed before assembling, but the rivet holes must not be coated with paint. 3. Putty

After the anti-rust paint is dry, purchase the paint putty to scrape the surface defects of the component. A suitable amount of thick paint or red powder can be added to the putty to increase its dryness. Putty should be polished flat and cleaned after drying. After the steel structure components are manufactured in the factory, anti-rust paint should be applied in advance. After being transported to the construction site, if it is stored for a long time, part of it has peeled off and rusting, and anti-rust paint should be applied again.

4. Phosphating primer

In order to make the paint on the metal surface have better adhesion, prolong the service life of the paint, and avoid rust corrosion, a layer of phosphating primer may be applied on the surface of the steel structural member. The phosphating primer consists of two parts, one is a primer and the other is a phosphating solution. When brushing is thin, it is not suitable to brush too thick, thick and easy to peel, poor adhesion. Thick paint can be diluted with a mixture of three parts of ethanol (95% or more) and one part of butanol. The water content of ethanol and butanol can not be too large, otherwise the paint wax is easy to whiten and affect the effect. After phosphating the primer for 2 hours, other primers or topcoats can be applied. Under normal circumstances, after finishing the coating for 24 hours, it is possible to rinse with clean water and remove the phosphatized residue on the surface with a brush. After drying, a visual inspection is made. If the metal surface produces a gray-brown uniform phosphating film, the phosphating requirement is achieved.

5. Brushing finish

The surface of the steel structure is polished and cleaned, and the top coat can be applied. Brushing sequence: from top to bottom, it is difficult to be easy. When brushing, you should brush more and more, brush oil to full, no flow does not fall, light uniform, uniform color. Repeatedly check after brushing, so as not to leak the brush, the steel structure topcoat generally brush two times to survive.
