In 2013, the export form of hardware tools continued to rise in China. The annual China International Hardware Show (CIHS) is currently the largest and most influential hardware exhibition in China. From January to March 2013, the metal products sub-sectors were sorted in accordance with the cumulative total import and export volume: construction hardware, tool hardware, household hardware, locks, cooking utensils and other gas appliances, shower rooms, stainless steel kitchen appliances, zippers And range hoods. Among them, the three building hardware, tools, hardware, and household hardware industries accounted for 42.99% of the total volume of total imports and exports in the entire industry in the first half of the year, respectively, 17.51%, 12.62% compared to the same period last year, a slight decline in construction. Hardware, tool hardware industry, hardware has increased slightly, but the influence and quality of domestic hardware tool brands still need to be improved.

The foreign trade of the metal products industry in China is general trade. From January to March 2013, the volume of imports and exports by general trade increased by 12.52%, and the total volume of imports and exports accounted for 73.34% of the industry. Among them, general trade exports increased by 15.25% year-on-year, which was a year earlier than the same period of last year. In the same period, it decreased by 3.16 percentage points, and the general trade import value increased by 2.39% year-on-year, a year-on-year decrease of 6.35 percentage points.
