The Ministry of Agriculture announced today the third batch of "Technology for Agricultural Promotion" in 2008, which includes the control technology of infectious diseases for medium- and small-scale pig farms, the silage production technology, and the comprehensive prevention and control of poultry diseases. At this point, nine of the results of our school's main technical support unit have been included in the 2008 “Agricultural Main Push Technology” issued by the Ministry of Agriculture.

In order to implement the Central Document No. 1 of 2008 and the spirit of the Central Rural Work Conference and the National Conference on Agricultural Work, we will comprehensively promote the work of science and technology for households, guide the broad masses of farmers to select good varieties, apply advanced and applicable technologies, give full play to science and technology for the stable development of agriculture, and the continued peasants The supporting role of income increase, according to the Ministry of Agriculture's "Promotion of Agricultural Leading Species and Promotion of Main Push Technologies," the Ministry of Agriculture has selected 80 leading varieties and 50 main push technologies as the promotion recommendation for the "Main Agricultural Pushing Technology" in 2008. The Ministry of Agriculture requires all localities to combine the actual situation, promote the release of the province's (autonomous regions, municipalities) leading varieties of agriculture and the main push technology, and through broadcast, television, newspapers and periodicals, the Internet and other media in a timely manner to carry out extensive publicity of these technological achievements.

Among the science and technology projects selected by our school, “One year of conservation tillage technology in mature drylands in the north” (technical support units: Conservation Farming Research Center of China Agricultural University) included “protective tillage and no-tillage technologies”; “Mechanized potato harvesting” "Technology" (Technical College), "Efficient Plant Protection Technology" (China Agricultural University Medical Machinery and Application Technology Center), etc. are included in the "Mechanized Harvesting and Plant Protection Technology"; "Straw Fertilizer Utilization Technology" (School of Engineering), "Straw Feed "Technology" (Academy of Animal Science and Technology) was included in the "Comprehensive Utilization of Crop Straw"; "Wheat Water Saving and High-yielding Cultivation Techniques" (China Agricultural University, Hebei Agricultural Technology Extension Station, and National Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center) were included in the "High Yield Wheat Production". In terms of animal husbandry science and technology, there are technologies based on the "infectious disease control technology for small and medium-scale pig farms" organized by our university and the Animal Husbandry Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Huazhong Agricultural University, and the China Veterinary Medicine Supervision Office. The “silage production technology” promoted this time is suitable for promotion in dairy farming areas throughout the country, with emphasis on the northeast and north China. Its planting technology support units are the National Maize Improvement Center of China Agricultural University and Northeast Agricultural University. The supporting units for silage production and use are the National Animal Husbandry Station, the Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Beef Cattle Research Center of the Animal Science and Technology College of our school. In addition, relying on "South Korea Agricultural University, our school animal medicine, Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Institute of "integrated poultry disease prevention and control technology" is also in 2008 "agricultural push technology."

It is reported that the "Nongda 108" corn variety cultivated by Prof. Xu Qifeng of our school has also been included in the “Agricultural Main Pushing Technology” of the Ministry of Agriculture in 2008. It is suitable for the northeast, north, northwestern spring maize area, Huanghuaihai summer sowing maize area and southwest China. Corn planting has been promoted to more than 100 million mu in the country.
