The waste oil contains a variety of fatty acid compounds and can serve as an effective pesticide synergist, particularly in the field of herbicides. Based on the unique properties of this waste oil, researchers developed a synergistic agent designed to enhance the performance of atrazine, a commonly used herbicide in corn fields.
In the initial phase, laboratory tests were conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the synergist. The results demonstrated that when combined with atrazine, the synergist significantly improved its ability to control weeds such as scorpion grass and drought-resistant species. At various application rates, the herbicidal effect increased by 33% to 40% compared to using atrazine alone. Following these promising findings, the research team collaborated with the Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences to carry out field trials. The test site covered approximately 2.5 mu (about 1,667 square meters). After 20 days of observation, the results showed that the synergist markedly enhanced the efficacy of atrazine against dry gold weed. Moreover, post-treatment assessments confirmed that all treated corn plots showed normal growth, indicating no adverse effects on the crop.
Encouraged by the success of the initial trials, the team conducted a real-world test in Xuanhua, Hebei Province. The synergist was applied alongside atrazine, and the dosage was reduced by roughly one-third compared to standard application rates. Visual evaluations indicated that the weed control effect remained comparable to that achieved with the full dose of atrazine. This reduction in herbicide usage not only helps lower input costs for farmers but also promotes more sustainable agricultural practices.
This innovative approach demonstrates how waste materials can be repurposed into valuable agricultural tools, offering both economic and environmental benefits. It highlights the potential of using by-products in agriculture to improve efficiency and reduce dependency on conventional chemical inputs. Further studies are planned to explore the long-term impacts and broader applications of this synergist across different crops and regions.
Flange Blocks
Flange
housing also known as Flange Bearing Housing.
Flange
housing/ Flange bearing housing is a commonly used
blocks in manufacturing, mining, and construction industries for mounting
self-aligning ball or spherical roller bearings with adapter sleeves or
cylindrical bores. They are designed for use on conveyors, dryers, road
building equipment, run-out tables, fans, crushers, hammer mills, and many
other high-precision, heavy duty applications.
