Ways to improve the utilization rate of phosphate fertilizer

Phosphorus is closely related to cell division of crops, synthesis, transformation and transportation of organic matter. It can promote the growth of young roots, promote flowering and fruiting, ripen early, and improve fruit quality. The measures to increase the utilization rate of phosphate fertilizer are as follows:

Priority is given to phosphorus-deficient soils and phosphorus-phosphorus crops. Such as poor soil, new flat soil and acid soil in the south. Crops such as legumes, canola, fruit trees, tea trees, and rubber.

The trials and production practices in various places show that the general order of response of phosphate fertilizer to field crops is: winter green manure crops (including legumes and turnips, rapeseed, etc.) > general dry land legumes > barley, wheat > early rice > mid-season > late rice.

Phosphate fertilizer is preferentially applied to crops with significant yield increase during the rotation cycle. When the water and drought are rotated, the principle of “dry and heavy water” is implemented. For example, when wheat (canola) and rice rotation, the phosphorus fertilizer is mainly used on wheat (canola), and rice can also use its aftereffect. In the dry crop rotation, the distribution and use of phosphate fertilizer should be based on the physiological characteristics of the crop, the ability to absorb scale and the rotation system. For example, wheat and corn rotation, phosphorus fertilizer should be applied to wheat, and later corn can use its aftereffect. If there is a bean crop, the phosphate fertilizer is preferentially applied to the bean crop.

Phosphate fertilizer should be applied in combination with other fertilizers. Phosphate fertilizer and organic fertilizer mixed and applied after stacking can improve the effectiveness of phosphate fertilizer, reduce the fixation of phosphorus in soil, and thus improve the fertilizer efficiency of phosphate fertilizer. When phosphate fertilizer is combined with nitrogen fertilizer and potassium fertilizer, the appropriate ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium should be considered to improve the utilization rate of phosphate fertilizer.

Use appropriate fertilization techniques. The main reason for the low utilization rate of phosphate fertilizer is that water-soluble phosphorus is easily fixed and has low mobility. Therefore, the rational application of phosphate fertilizer should take all effective measures to reduce the fixation of water-soluble phosphorus, and promote the conversion of poorly soluble phosphorus into effective phosphorus, and maximize the chance of direct contact with roots. It is often used to increase the utilization rate of phosphate fertilizer by means of concentration, stratification, deep application and early application.
