Recently, Prof. Ma Jianxin of Tongji University Automotive College undertook the special project of Expo—the scale of hydrogen production of chemical by-products applied to the research and demonstration of key technologies for fuel cell vehicles. It was approved by the experts of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission.
This project has solved key technologies for the application of hydrogen by-products for fuel cell vehicles through research on hydrogen purification and hydrogen quality analysis of industrial by-products. The hydrogen produced by the purification device developed in this project was put into practice through the practice of the Shanghai World Expo fuel cell vehicle. The results show that it can fully meet the requirements for the use of fuel cell vehicles.
