China's plastic products output exceeds last year's full year in the first 10 months

According to the statistics of the National Bureau of Statistics of China, in October 2010, the output of plastic products in China was 5.259 million tons, and cumulative output from January to October was 45.471 million tons, which was a year-on-year increase of 20.5%, more than last year's total output.

Guangdong is the leader in the output of plastic products. In October, the output was 1,312,000 tons. The cumulative output in the previous October was 10.746 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 18.8%, accounting for 23.6% of the country's total output. Last year, the total output of plastic products in Guangdong Province was 10.52 million tons. It can be seen from the data that Guangdong Province had already reached and produced an output of 226,000 tons in the first 10 months of this year, slightly exceeding the annual output of 2009.

After Guangdong, the larger output is still in Zhejiang, Shandong, Jiangsu, Liaoning and other provinces, accounting for 16%, 9.2%, 7.9%, and 6% of the country's total output, of which, Shandong has a rapid growth rate of 26%. Liaoning was 18.6%, Zhejiang and Jiangsu were 16% and 12.3% respectively.

In terms of subdivision categories, the output of plastic films, pipes and accessories, silk ropes and woven products was relatively high. In October, the output reached 715,000 tons, 750,000 tons and 655,000 tons respectively, and the cumulative output exceeded 5.5 million tons. Among them, the growth rate of plastic pipe machine attachments was faster, reaching 28%, and the cumulative production volume of daily-use plastics was also 5.122 million tons.
