At the two conferences held last year, the "Internet of Things" was first written into the government work report. This move has aroused widespread concern in the society. Recently, in the “2011 Government Work Report” issued by many provinces and cities in China, it can be seen that emerging industries such as the Internet of Things, triple play, and cloud computing have all been highlighted, and emerging industries such as the Internet of Things are in the future development of the government. Has occupied a clear position. The provincial and municipal government work reports clearly pointed out that the main tasks of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” should be to promote the R&D and application of IoT technologies, speed up the demonstration and application of Internet of Things projects and “triple play”, and promote smart city construction and cloud computing demonstration applications. The following will list the work plans for the Internet of Things, triple play, and cloud computing industries in the 2011 government work reports of major provinces and cities in China for reference.

Shandong Province: Accelerating Informationization. Promote the integration of the "Three Networks", strengthen the construction of the Internet of Things and expand value-added services.

Jiangxi Province: Promote Information Construction. Heilongjiang Province: The information service industry must speed up the construction of the Internet of Things, promote the implementation of a number of major projects such as Harbin International Data City, and vigorously develop the cloud computing industry.

Anhui Province: Cultivating and expanding strategic emerging industries. The implementation of the “Hundreds of Thousands” project for the implementation of strategic emerging industries has achieved new results in the construction and cultivation of major projects, leading enterprises, and industrial bases. We will actively develop high-end industries such as quantum communications and the Internet of Things, and start 100 major technological breakthroughs in strategic emerging industries. Actively introduce strategic investors at home and abroad, and attract a group of highly-comprehensive and high-tech projects to settle in our province.

Hubei Province: To seize the opportunity of Wuhan becoming a pilot city for triple play across the country, increase the integration of information resources, vigorously develop IoT technologies that are compatible with existing information systems, advance the informationization of social services, and accelerate the construction of digital Hubei.
