1.5mm self adhesive bitumen sealing tape
Aluminium bitumen tape/self adhesive flashing tape/flashband for roofing for general flashing applications, sealing glazing bars, sealing leaks in gutters, valleys, down pipes, capping, caravan seams and various corrugated and flat roofs. Also suitable for sealing roof lights and repairs to cracked glass. 
Self adhesive bitumen flashing tape for construction is a kind of polymer modified asphalt materials using polyester carpet or glass mat for the matrix, the surface coverd with polyethylene film, aluminum foil or fine sand, the base covered with a release sheet , keep the self adhesive flexible waterproof. The product has a good self adheisve and bending properties.  a. instant waterproof seal, even in famp conditions. 
b.quick and easy to apply, no specialist tools required.
c. 4 layers or protection: lacquer foil, membrane and bitumen adhesive
d. superior temperature resistance from -20ºC to +100ºC   -easily moulds to contours. 
e. long lasting protection, at least 15 years

Storage Life: 12 months stored between 5 ºC and 25ºC in original containers

1. Cut flashing to the required length;
2. remove the release film and press down the adhesive bitumen to the previously prepared surface.
3. Ensure full contact by smoothing down with a cloth, taking care to eliminate air bubbles.
4. Final rolling down of the edges with a wallpaper roller will ensure a good edge seal.
5. All overlaps should be a minimum of 25mm and well rolled down.
Note: In cold weather adhesion will be imporved by storing the roll in a  warm room for 12 hours or more before use, or by gently warming the strip during application.Do not apply below 5 ºC.
