On July 3, it was learned from the Chinese Academy of Sciences that in recent years, nanoporous metal organic framework compounds (MOFs) have shown promising applications in gas adsorption and separation, heterogeneous catalysis, sensors, and microreactors. A series of transition metal oxides and their composite materials were synthesized by the Light Metals and Battery Materials Group of the State Key Laboratory of Rare Earths Resources Utilization of the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. These materials have high specific discharge capacities and good cycle stability. MOF template synthesis lithium-ion battery anode material has made a series of research progress.
The researchers found that the use of co-precipitation technology can effectively adsorb metal cations onto the surface of germanium nanowires with excellent conductivity. After the organic ligand solution is added, the ligands coordinate with the metal ions on the surface of germanium nanowires to form MOF nuclei. The nuclei grow into MOF crystals, and the germanium nanowires are finally embedded in the MOF in-situ. After heat treatment, a multi-metal oxide nanocomposite with a graded porous structure can be prepared.
After this kind of nanocomposite material is in the voltage range of 0.01-3.0V, after charging and discharging 100 times with 100mAg-1 current density, the specific capacity is stable at 956mAhg-1 or more; when the charging and discharging current density is 2000mAg-1, the specific capacity is still as high as 307mAhg. -1 shows excellent electrochemical energy storage characteristics.
