Do not directly align with the liquid level spray to avoid the impact of the jet, instead of flushing or flushing the burning liquid out of the container to expand the combustion range. When fighting a solid material fire, the jet should be directed at the most violent place. As the effective spray distance is shortened during the fire, the user should gradually approach the combustion zone and always spray the foam on the combustion product until it is extinguished. When in use, the fire extinguisher should always be in an inverted state, otherwise the spray will be interrupted.
Foam fire extinguishers should be stored in a dry, cool, ventilated and convenient place. Do not be near high temperature or exposed to prevent carbonation from decomposing. In winter, antifreeze measures should be taken to prevent freezing; dust should be wiped off frequently. Unblock the nozzle to keep it open.
Cart type foam fire extinguisher adapts to fire and use method
It adapts to the same fire as a portable chemical foam fire extinguisher.
Fire extinguisher use method
When in use, it is generally operated by two people. The fire extinguisher is quickly pushed and pulled to the fire site. It stops at a distance of about 10 meters from the fire point. After one person applies the spray hose, both hands hold the spray gun and aim at the burning place; the other is reversed first. Turn the handwheel in the hour hand direction, raise the screw to the highest position, open the bottle cap, then pour the cylinder backwards, touch the rod, and rotate the valve handle 90 degrees to spray the foam to extinguish the fire. If the valve is installed at the gun, the valve is opened by the person responsible for operating the gun.
The fire extinguishing method and precautions are basically the same as those of the portable chemical foam fire extinguisher. Because the fire extinguisher has a long injection distance and a long continuous injection time, it can fully exert its advantages and is used to save the initial fire in a large area of ​​a storage tank or a tanker.
